Mom came to visit us in Ames. Riley has been practicing her sewing and Mom offered to teach her how to make scrunchies. Riley did the cutting, sewing, and turning inside out but had help putting in the elastic and hand stitching them closed. Mom took the kids and I to breakfast at The Cafe and we had a campfire in the backyard. It was a fun visit and we look forward to another one soon!
