Punky missed us when we were on vacation but she was happy to have us home and get some snuggle time! It was awesome to come home to Iowa and have sweet corn for dinner! It's wonderful to leave and have new experiences and it is also great to come home.
It was nice to be able to visit with family more this summer but I feel like summer flew by this year and it is already time to start school next week.

The kids are sorting some of the shells we found in North Carolina into our collection of curiosities.
We made fun cupcakes again! They were supposed to be dinosaurs this time because we are studying them right now but I am not sure which ones have that many eyes! They had a great time though!
Ottumwa Visit
We had a fun time visiting the park with grandma but it was so hot the kids got tired fast! August was surprised when this cute tree frog jumped when he got near this tree.
