 Fun with Circuits

Learning about circuits with play doh, leds, and batteries. They had the best time and still ask to get these things out! We learned about insulators and conductors and how a switch works.

Geography

A little puzzle building

and an adorable robot!

Science Center with Friends: January 7th

We had a great time wandering around and interacting with all the exhibits! Many of them reinforced the physics and engineering principles that we have been learning about. This was extra special because we met friends there on August's 7th Birthday!

Low friction space

earthquake building tests

building a dam and water power

seeing how far your paper rocket will go

Augusts 7th Birthday

August wanted a big cake this year so he helped me make it after the science center!

8 Yellow Roses: January 16th

Kyla would have been 8 years old. We still miss what could have been wonderful!

Ice Skating Field Trip

 Sink or Float

Making tin foil boats and seeing how many little bears it takes to sink it.

Making a house out of legos and trying to get it to lift up with the helium balloons. The legos were too heavy so they had to problem solve and make the house out of tape and styrofoam instead.

Nora just loved playing with the balloons!

The best activities are the messy ones and Nora was having so much fun making these circle and dot paintings!

Noras Starry Night

August and Ainsleys Birthday Party in Marion

He wanted a carrot cake for his party.

These girls love each other so much!
