We had the most fun working on all the projects to go with reading The Phantom Tollbooth. It had a 3-D map project that you construct as you get to the the different places in the book. We made the characters that go on the journey and the kids acted out the book over and over when we were all done. At the end we had a word party like the feast in Dictionopolis in the book. It was so fun and sometimes the kids still ask to do it again.
